100% Keepin' It Real. They took a shot at a new sound and it really worked for them on this song. I love the swampy feel; it definitely stands out on an album where a bunch of songs give a similar tone.
I also love the atheistic lyrics drenched in metaphor which you can find all over the album.

My 6 yr old and I love 'Odds Are'. Catchy and fun, and certainly deserving of the airplay it's getting on BBC Radio 2 in the UK at the moment. Makes me smile every time I listen to it.

My favorite is "Odds Are." It is catchy, memorable, and has some of Ed's most clever lyrics ever. "Fog of Writing" is a close second. I wish that it was on the album and not merely a bonus track.

Keepin' It Real is a definite standout after seeing it performed live recently. The band absolutely rocked it and it was clear they were having so much fun playing.

Odds Are. My mother was such a worrier, and I fight that tendency every day. This song has become my mantra. Plus, it's just plain fun!

Give It Back To You. "Should have just fell down,Instead of making,Such a hole in the ground,There's no mistaking,I will wear the crown,I'm the lord and master,Of this disaster." "I don't care how long it takes,I will atone for my mistakes,I will hold your heart when it breaks,And give it back to you,I'll give it back to you." I was fortunate to get to hear a similar heartfelt apology recently so the words really resonate with me.

Blacking Out. Fantastic song that should not have been cut. From the main album, Odds Are, Keepin it Real, or Limits. Can't decide

Great to have a forum again! My favourite track is Limits i think. It just sets up the rest of the album. Its a great tune with life affirming lyrics.
Every song on the album is great though.

Did I Say That Out Loud? Just about every single time I finish listening to these 2-1/2 minutes of pop perfection, (no wordplay intended) I say "oooooh, I love this song!" Out loud. Can't possibly sit still!

Odds Are is probably my favourite. It's the catchiest track and makes me watch to grab a guitar and play it. That said, a LOT of the songs on the album are among my favourite BNLs to listen to at the moment, and I agree all three cut songs are really cool alternatives.

Keeping it Real. LOVE IT. Great sound and I love the background vocals Ed leaves at the end of the song.

While I LOVE "Odds Are" (like, it makes me HAPPY. I adore it.) my favorite song overall is probably "Did I Say That Out Loud?". I love Ed's guitar melody, and the chorus where you just get to bust out and "put your hands up in the air" is so much fun.

I'm one who always dares to be different. My favorite is "Daydreamin' " because the lyrics speak of so much possibility.
