Jim Creeggan is an amazing musician and in my own opinion his bass playing is what gives BNL music its signature sound. His solo work with his brother Andy (former BNL member) is worth a listen. I just recently collected all of musical works of The Brothers Creeggan and am very impressed. My favorite song is Anna on the Moon on the album Sleepyhead. Any other fans of The Brothers Creeggan?

Lots of us. I wasn't a big fan when I first got into BNL (Skipped Jim's songs on BOAPS) but I don't know what caused me to snap and just start loving them. I love watching Bros. Creeggan live. They are amazing in talent and energy. I am quite sad that they stopped touring a few months into my fandom - I had an opportunity to see them back in 2003ish when they were still in their touring "prime" and I skipped it.

I've only just listened to the previews for Sleepyhead and liked what I heard. Seems that this is the only Brothers Creeggan album available for download. A couple of Andy Creeggan's solo albums can be downloaded.
Will give Sleepyhead a try! If I decide to get more albums, I hope there is good availability for CDs. Had to go this route to complete Kevin's solo albums.

I love Anna on the Moon. It was (still is) a song I sing to my daughter when I rock her. I substitute Anna for Lily Mae on the moon I also love Will You Come Back to Me.
