There have been some standout songs on the setlists this tour. Has one been a surprise to you? Is there one you wish they would not play? Chime in friends!

I was surprised to see King of Bedside Manor in Bethlehem. Wasn't even expecting that one to pop up.

Happy to hear "Life, in a Nutshell" in Cleveland..on the other hand as much as I like hearing Tyler sing, I'm getting a little tired of hearing "Alcohol"

I agree! Getting tired of hearing "Alcohol." Keep wishing I would catch "For You", but haven't on either the LSOE or Fall Tour. We didn't get too many big surprises in NYC. Mainly "Asleep at the Wheel", which was great, but there are others they've been circulating on this tour that I would have loved to have heard. "Some Fantastic" and "Maybe Katie" are a few.

Long way back home, wind it up & take it outside were great surprises last night in Pittsburgh. Keeping It Real with Whitehorse is awesome. Do-wop version of Sound of your voice is funny & touching. I think they can stop playing the "mandatory" Steve songs like Old Apartment & Brian Wilson. This 4 piece has proven itself. While I know the audience still want those songs, I'd rather hear more from Ed, Jim & Kevin.

Not on this tour, but I was surprised that they did Enid over the summer!

I can't emphasize how much I am digging the GS songs. Hearing Keeping it Real with Luke Doucet was a huge treat, and I love all of the songs from the album that are in the regular rotation as well.
I agree that Enid was awesome over the summer, and it's nice to see Bedside Manor making an appearance. I do wish that occasionally some of the under appreciated songs like Summertime, What a Letdown, and all of the new bonus tracks would pop up now & then. Or maybe a real rarity (coughLILACGIRLcough)

dawezl: The day they do Lilac Girl (an unreleased demo tape Steve song) as a fourpiece is the day I was be truely surprised. The only way I see it happening is if they are feeling very generous and someone requests it... It'd be cool to hear though. McDonald's Girl for the win. Think "Steven Page Is Having A Baby" is off the table? Ballad of Gordon is one I'd love to hear them bust out. At least it's an Ed song...

I know I don't have a snowball's chance in hell of ever hearing it, but I can't bring myself to give up hope, lol. I actually think that they could do something quite awesome with it if they ever felt like it. Problem is, I don't think anyone feels like it, lol.
