Gordon for me, for nostalgic reasons as much as anything i guess. That's where it all started, although i remember being disappointed about how polished it sounded compared to the Yellow Tape.

So so hard to choose. But I think I have to say "E2E" because it was my "first" (given to me by my husband on our 1st Christmas). All of their albums have such specific places in my heart, though. We don't decorate our Christmas Tree till "Barenaked for the Holidays" is locked and loaded!

Stunt! I fell in love with it! I think it might have been my first "true love."

I voted for E2E. There is just something about that album, it is my go to one for when I am happy, sad, needing a boost, well, for everything pretty much!

Gordon for sure...I went to see them in 1992 when they came to Newfoundland...I was 14 at the time and I have grown up getting every single album and going to as many concerts when they are in Calgary as I can...I feel like as their music grows, so does my fondness for the band.
Plus...I hate Halifax (long story) and so Hello City for me is extra specially good!

"Everything To Everyone" is my favourite. To me it's like The Beatles' "White Album".

Voted for Barenaked Ladies Are Me. "Wind It Up", "Take It Back", "Adrift", "Sound of Your Voice", "Easy", "Home", "Everything Had Changed", "Maybe You're Right"... This album never gets old for me.

I voted for Maroon as well! I'm not sure if it's their "best" album but it's definitely my personal favourite. I was born the year before Gordon came out so I wasn't introduced to those earlier albums (Gordon, MYSD,BOAPS) till I was in my early teens although I knew the singles from being played on Canadian Radio non-stop in the 90's. Some of my fondest memories growing up are blasting Maroon with my siblings and parents and singing all the words. It's not only my favourite BNL album, but one of my top 5 albums in existence.

"Everything To Everyone" is my favourite. To me it's like The Beatles' "White Album". Funny you should say. I've always compared Are Me/Are Men to the White Album. -Both albums feature more than usual vocal contributions from non-lead vocalists (Ringo/George) (Kevin/Jim) -Both albums feature a huge number of songs -Both albums have a lot of diversity between songs -Both albums were made near the end of the bands run (original line up for BNL) -Both albums feature guest guitar solos on a song ( Eric Clapton on "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" Kim Mitchell on "Wind It Up")

I thought Stunt would walk this, to be honest. Maybe we should vote for a top three to make it more interesting? or get some more voters in...
