I can't figure out how to vote via phoneternet, but in not sure what I would vote anyway...
I have a huge fondness for Gordon, since that was the album I first connected with. For a long time, Maroon was my #2 album, and if I could cut it down to 1 album, BLAM would probably be up there as well. But, wow, Grinning Streak has blown me away. I can't stop listening to it, and hearing many of the songs live has just made me love it more. So, I don't quite know how I'd vote, lol!

I thought Stunt would walk this, to be honest. Maybe we should vote for a top three to make it more interesting? or get some more voters in... A top three would be a great idea - perhaps as a separate poll? With this many albums to choose from (and what a problem to have!) picking just one spreads out the data a little too much. I'd be very interested to see which ones rise to the top. |

It's got to be Gordon for me. It's where it all began when my brother came back from Glastonbury in 1993 with Gordon on tape. I stole said tape and the rest is history!

I have to go with Are Me. I remember getting it and being so excited at the different musical textures on the album that it was two weeks before I finally stopped listening to it on repeat. I don't even have a favorite song on it. Instead, I have favorite parts of the songs, like the strings and keyboard outro to "Adrift" or the intro to "Everything Had Changed" where the strings lead right into the banjo.
To me, Are Me is their Pet Sounds or even their Sgt. Pepper. It's all those musical genres that we fans know the band has within them, and letting them run free.

I haven't voted because I simply can't choose. I have favorite songs on literally every album. So I will vote based upon the criteria of loving each and every single song on the album. My vote goes to Gordon. But seriously, it's hard to vote for just one.

Definitely Gordon for me. 20 years ago I went home after a festival and told my (then) boyfriend about a brilliant song I heard. I sang "if I had a Million Dollars... Uh..Uh..Uh..Uh..Uh..Uh..uuuuuh" He took out the tape he just bought, called Gordon.
Since.then I loved them. This is the only good thing that came out of that relationship :-D
Grinning Streak is a very close second!

Gordon. Some hilarious songs and some real emotional ones on there. Absolutely fantastic. I have two albums on my itunes that is entirely 5* songs, and Gordon is one of them
