I've been wondering, do fans still make and trade/post concert recordings? I know this mostly stopped when BNL was selling recordings of their live shows, since it wasn't cool for us to make bootlegs of something that could be purchased. Now the band has stopped selling the shows, but if making bootlegs has picked up again, I haven't seen it! Some of my favorite versions of songs are from live shows that I've downloaded from the old forum and the BNLhttp site and it would make me so happy to see some recordings of more recent tour dates.

If folks want to post links to concert recordings here, they are more than welcome to!

You can find plenty of recordings from recent shows of a song here and there with a simple search on youtube. As far as recording an entire show, most of the venues I've been at this past summer and fall have staff constantly telling you no recording allowed. As far as I know, the band doesn't mind, it's the rules of the venue.

It would be nice if the guys sold recordings of their shows, as they used to do. I'm seeing John Fogerty tomorrow and you can download a show the next day. It's a nice souvenir.

Venue rules or not, most bootleggers don't really care about venue rules. KingJeff still records most of the shows he goes to, but I think a lot of the "taping" public has left BNL or simply doesn't go to a lot of shows anymore. Jeff can probably speak to this more than I can, but I have found the "bootleg" market is generally down - perhaps the advent of higher quality soundboard recordings being more available has spoiled people on lower-quality audience recordings. I dunno.
