In a previous thread, I posted about the progress and IndieGoGo campaign set up for the book. Now, very much ahead of schedule, it is finished and published and available!
Here's the description:
The Barenaked Ladies Chronology is a comprehensive look at the recording and release history of Ed Robertson, Steven Page, Jim Creeggan, Andy Creeggan, Tyler Stewart and Kevin Hearn, the past and present members of a band which continues to captivate
audiences the world over after more than 20 years.
In 1991, the band released The Yellow Tape, the first indie demo release to go platinum in Canada. This was followed by a string of hits from their albums, which
include Gordon, Rock Spectacle and Stunt, and such hits as “Brian Wilson,” “If I Had $1000000,” “The Old Apartment” and “One Week.”
This Chronology covers every aspect of the band members’ recording careers both as Barenaked Ladies and beyond. It looks the band’s indie releases, studio and live albums, singles and collections. It covers Steven Page’s Vanity Project and solo work after leaving the group, Andy Creeggan’s post-Ladies Andiwork albums and compositions, Andy and Jim’s work as The Brothers Creeggan, Tyler Stewart and Don’t Talk Dance, and Kevin Hearn’s time with Look People, Rheostatics and Thin Buckle, not to mention his own solo albums. Also explored are their many guest appearances on other artists’ works.
The information is presented date by date in chronological order,
accompanied by detailed descriptions of each song version and non-album track, the
edits, remixes and demos. The book covers as well Barenaked Ladies’ tours and live
appearances.
It’s all here, in The Barenaked Ladies Chronology!
