I cant think of anything more entertaining to do on the internet then watch BNL videos on youtube. How about a thread for posting your favourites / discoveries? I'll start: I love this so much, it never fails to lift my mood...

This is one of my favorites, oh my goodness. I always laugh uncontrollably when everyone just stops and stares at Ed:

This always makes me giggle at the 2:20 mark! Some Fantastic in this series is, of course, toilet humour at its best:

I'm a big fan of vintage (The Guinness Toast vid is classic, but is made particularly great because they had just done an ad lib about calling an audible, and they didn't even do it right. Also, the observation that both are played with the same instruments, and then they went on to play both (two extra songs for the night). Cost Call and Answer as an encore, but I'm ok with that.
The Ballad of Gordon is always classic.
The band has been on Conan a number of times which really shows their changes over time:
Sept 29, 1993 (13th episode of Conan)
And shortly thereafter, Enid:
And Old Apartment
There used to be a 1996ish version of Brian Wilson with the guys in tuxedos but I don't see it anymore.
Here's a 2007 Wind It Up (not as vintage):
These two vintage vids are also pretty cool:

Wishful thinking, i know, but it would great to have Andy back in the band somehow, even though Kev is my musical hero.

First, you guys have completely derailed me and I haven't accomplished anything this afternoon. Thanks for that. :-)
This is one I recently discovered, which I love because IT'S JIM! Doing lead vocals! This is the only song I'm aware of that he takes lead on -- are there others? Is there anyone in the world who looks like he enjoys his work as much as Jim Creegan?

What a great find! not seen that before. I thought the sound was good then i clicked through and saw its a kdc&cc production. His (their?) videos are always so good. I love all Jim's songs.

Gordon: I Love You (I think it's just on the bridge if memory serves) Born On A Pirate Ship: Spider In My Room Barenaked For The Holidays: Christmas Pics Are Me: Peterborough And The Kawarthas Snacktime: Pollywog In A Bog
All In Good Time: On The Lookout, I Saw It
Grinning Streak: Who Knew?

I also saw Jim sing a sing called Inline Bowline live at a BNL concert in 2004. I guess he wrote it for Maroon but it was cut and later released as a b-side?

Thanks, Fat Kid (I feel bad calling you that -- how about "Husky Kid"?) - I've got several of those cds - I'll have to pay closer attention. Spider in My Room is just so bizarre that I never really thought about who was doing the vocals. And I'm a still a little ticked that I pre-ordered Grinning Streak before realizing that if I'd waited and gone to Target I could have gotten bonus tracks. Have yet to hear them.
In keeping with the thread, I don't think anyone's posted Captain Dynamic yet. No music, but good fun with Ed. :-)

Yes, it was a b-side for the Pinch Me single. (This kind of stuff and 80's song lyrics keep my memory full). It's one of my favorite Jim songs. According to MYSD.org, Inline Bowline was a hidden/bonus track (along with Hidden Sun), on the Australian release of Maroon.

Here is Blacking Out, and the others should be listed as "Suggestions": www.itemvn.com/song/Barenaked-Ladies-Blacking-Out-Bonus-Track-Grinning-Streak/CA643B3904Yay for Captain Dynamic, cracks me up every time. Thanks for posting!
